I am Srilaxmi. I born and bought-up in WARANGAL. My father Agriculture cum politician and my Mom homemaker. I blessed with three brothers and one sister. My elder brother was married and working as a TA in MPDO office at Warangal. My first younger brother was also married and working with Sushee Infra Pvt Ltd as a Asset Manager at Hyderabad. Ques:- To 15 lts of water containing 20% alcohol, we add 5 lts of pure water. What is % alcohol.

It means (20/100)*15=3 litres

Now 5 litre of water is added not alcohol.

So it means only the volume of solution is increases by 5 not alcohol.

It means 15+5=20

Now % of alcohol is

(3/20)*100=15%.
