Ques:- Two trains of length 120 m and 280 m are running towards each other on parallel lines at 42 kmph and 30 kmph respectively. In what time will they be clear of each other from the moment they meet?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2022-09-29 18:55:02:

I solve it as the 280m train being stationary… and the 120m train moving at (42+30) = 72kph…. or 20mps

The front of the train will have to go 280m to pass the stationary train plus another 120m for the backs to clear… that is 400m in all.

The time to travel 400m at 20mps is 20secs

Ques:- When a blue stone is thrown into a red sea, what would happen?
Recent Answer : Added by Deven Sharma On 2023-05-31 18:33:40:

If a blue stone is thrown into a red sea, several things could happen depending on the context and the properties of the stone and the sea:

Symbolically: Since blue and red are contrasting colors, the interaction of a blue stone in a red sea could be seen as a visual or metaphorical contrast. It could represent a stark difference or an unexpected element introduced into an existing situation.

Scientifically: In reality, the color of the stone and the sea would not have a direct physical impact on each other. The stone would sink or float based on its density and the water’s buoyancy. The color of the water, whether red or any other color, does not change the fundamental principles of objects interacting with liquids.

It’s important to note that red seas, in the context of bodies of water, typically do not exist naturally. The phrase “red sea” is often used metaphorically or symbolically rather than referring to an actual body of water with a red color.

Ques:- Every year an amount increases by 1/8th of itself. How much will it be after two years if its present value is Rs.64000?
Recent Answer : Added by Shailendra Gurjar On 2022-09-28 17:42:47:

₹1 today increases to (1+1/8) = 9/8 after 1year.

After 2 years it increases to 9/8 of 9/8 = (9/8)^2 =81/64 times.

Hence ₹64000 increase to 64000×81/64 =₹81000

Ques:- Three friends divided some bullets equally. After all of them shot 4 bullets the total number of bullets remaining is equal to the bullets each had after division. Find the original number divided?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:01:02:

Ans =18
Explanation:
Assume that initial there were 3*X bullets.
So they got X bullets each after division.
All of them shot 4 bullets. So now they have (X – 4)
bullets each.
But it is given that,after they shot 4 bullets each, total
number of bullets remaining is equal to the bullets each
had after division i.e. X
Therefore, the equation is
3 * (X – 4) = X
3 * X – 12 = X
2 * X = 12
X = 6
Therefore the total bullets before division is = 3 * X = 18
