Let’s say, length of train = x metres
Speed at pole = Speed at platform
x/15 = 100+x / 25
5x = 300 + 3x
2x = 300
x = 150m

The batsman on 98 is on strike. He hits the ball and they run 3. UNFORTUNATELY one of the batsmen doesn`t turn correctly for one of the runs and the umpire calls ONE SHORT and awards only two runs.
