If the car engine fails ofter travelling 45km, the car reaches the destination B 36min late to the actual time , what is the initial velocity of car and what is the distance between A and B in km
Recent Answer : Added by DK BOSS On 2021-07-17 06:18:31:

Ans. let x is distance from A to B
and y is initial speed.
30/y+(x-30)5/4y -x/y = 3/4
=> 4x-12y=120 —-(1).
45/y + (x-45)5/4y -x/y=3/5
=> 5x-12y=225 ——-(2).
From equ (1) and equ (2) we will get.
x=25 and y=105
so initial speed is 25 km/hr
and Distance From A to B is 105 km

Ques:- Perimeter of the back wheel = 9 feet, front wheel = 7 feet on a certain distance, the front wheel gets 10 revolutions more than the back wheel .What is the distance?
Recent Answer : Added by VSEC_me On 2022-08-14 16:34:00:

Let the total rotations be x:
So the distance covered by both the wheels will be same,
9 * x = 7 * (x + 10)
x = 35 rotations
distance travelled = 9 * 35 = 7 * (35 + 10) = 315 feet

Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2022-09-29 16:36:42:

answer :
Let the distance which I walk to the station be x km Then Time needed to reach the station at 3 km/hr = (3x+602) hrs and
Time needed to reach the station at 4 km/hr = (4x+602) hrs But 3x+301=4x−301⇒3x−4x=−302=151
⇒124x−3x=151⇒12x=151⇒x=1512=54 km

Ques:- If the 3 digit number AB9 is a perfect square then is A an odd digit?
Recent Answer : Added by Shitoshe Wangatia On 2021-12-11 15:07:15:

A perfect square is a square number of a digit. eg 64 is a perfect number, a square of 8
Now digits AB9 is a square number of a number.
AB9 Can also be written as A multiply by B multiply by 9
Get the Square root of AB9
Assumption, A=1, B=1
1*1=1=A, 1*1=1=B Therefore,
Square root of A = A, B = B and 9=3
Therefore
An odd number is a number indivisible by 2.
for example 1,3,5,7…….
Therefore Squares A*B*9= AB9
Where a=1, b=1, 3 as digits.
Conclusion
A=1 is an odd number

Ques:- A is thrice as efficient as B and is, therefore, able to finish a piece of work 10 days earlier than B. In how many days A and B will finish it together?
Recent Answer : Added by Abhi Chatterjee On 2022-01-08 16:05:10:

Let n be the number of days it takes A and B, working together, to finish. And we know B=A+10 and B=3A, so:

3A=A+10

2A=10

A=5

Then B=15

So:

1/A + 1/B=1/n where n is the total amount of days. So:

1/5 + 1/15=1/n

3n+n=15

n=15/4 days
