Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 11:59:42:

Friends,
The Answer given by ‘Gaurav Sharma’ is correct and
the approach (bottom to top) suggested by ‘Shailesh’ is
good. But with minor correction we can arrive the solution
using this approach:
After 5th loot, No. of breads left = 3
after 4th loot, no. of breads left = (3+0.5)x2 = 7
after 3rd loot, no. of breads left = (7+0.5)x2 = 15
after 2nd loot, no. of breads left = (15+0.5)x2 = 31
after 1st loot, no. of breads left = (31+0.5)x2 = 63
So, before 1st loot, no. of breads left = (63+0.5)x2 = 127

Ques:- what does success mean to you?
Ques:- There are 4 people in a closed room and you are waiting outside to enter into the room. You can enter only when one of them opens the door. The probability that somebody will open the door is 1/2. Now what is the probability that the door will be opened so that you can go inside?
Recent Answer : Added by Ashwin GB On 2021-07-08 16:28:54:

The probability that no one opens the door would be
0.5×0.5×0.5×0.5= 0.0625
So, the probability that atleast one opens the door is 1-0.0625= 0.9375

Recent Answer : Added by Mahomed On 2021-08-24 15:05:46:

All books can be arranged in 10! ways. A single pair of books can be taken as a unit and arranged among the 8 others in 9! ways. The pair of books can also be interchanged and therefore rearranged in 2! ways. Thus the probability of the pair always being together is (9!*2!)/10!

Ques:- if 30 men completes a job in 15 days working 9 hrs per day.. how much hours per day should 40 men work ??
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:04:31:

as i assume the time taken to complete the job is not to be
changed while increasing the employees as it does not
clearly states so……….
30 men wrk for 9 hrs
therefore for the work to be done if no of workers is
increases the no of hrs / day to work should decrease so
here s a inverse relation
solving further we get
30 = K /9 ==> K= 270
now
40 = 270/y ==> y= 6.75
therefore ans is d)none

Ques:- Jack & Jill went to the hill….In going to hill (upword Direction)…Jack went to the hill first nd waited for Jill for “x” hours.. Jack’s speed was then twice of Jill.. In the down word direction Jill can go 3km in a hour, while Jack can go 1km in 1 hour.. Jill reach the ground 1st nd waited for Jack for “x” hours.. Total journey they traveled is 6 km.. Find the speed of Jack…
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:03:21:

previous ans wrong again..!!!!
first find x its 2 hours
total journey 6 hrs 3km up and also down
jill takes one hr to come down and jack takes 3 hrs so x
is 2 hours….
And while going up jack goes at 1.5km/hr and jill goes at
0.75 km hr so to travel 3 km they take 2 hrs and 4 hrs
respectively…!!! x again is 2 hrs…
so jack totally takes 5 hrs to travel 6 km
therfore speed is 6/5 km per hour
thats is 1.2 km per hour is the correct answer

Ques:- Arun, Kamal and Vinay invested Rs.8000, Rs.4000 and Rs.8000 respectively in a business. Arun left after six months. If after eight months, there was a gain of Rs.4005, then what will be the share of Kamal?
A. Rs. 1780
B. Rs. 1602
C. Rs. 1335
D. Rs. 890
Recent Answer : Added by Muthu Mahesh On 2021-10-25 03:53:35:

Total inversement =20000
Arun and vinay =40% ,40%
Kamal =20%
8 month gain = 4005
Arun and vinay share of 6 months=1201.5
Kamal share of 6 month = 600.75
Now Arun left, then remaining 2 month’s profits =1001.25
In this case kamal have 33.3% and vinay have remaining percentage of 1001.25
33.3% of 1001.25 is 333.4
Now, total share of kamal is 600.75+333.4=934.16
