x = 4y – 5
Solving the two equations,
80 – y = 4y – 5
85 = 5y
Therefore, y = 17
put the value of y in equation(1)

x+y=80
x+17=80

If there is no restriction, any three can be chosen from the ten in (10C3) = 120 ways.
