Ques:- A report has 20 sheets each of 55 lines and each line consists of 65 characters. If this report is to be retyped with each sheet having 65 lines and each line of 75 characters wht will be the reduction percent in the pages ?
A. 22.5 %
B. 35
C. 25
D. none
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:05:39:

(c) 25%
20*55*65=y*65*75
y=(20*55*65)/(65*75)
y=14.667 =15
y=15
% reduction=(20-15)/20=25%

Ques:- a train is moving at speed of 25 kmph , another train moving the same direction at a speed of 49 kmph crossed a man in the first train in 10 sec ? wht is the length of the second train ?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:04:15:

Relative velocity of trains = 49kmph -25 kmph = 24kmph
=6.67m/s
Time taken to cross the first train = 10 sec
Length of the second train = Relative Velocity * Time taken
to cross the first Train = 6.67 *10 = 66.7 metres

I think the answer is: 16
the woman faster *1.5 from the man, every day.
because that, the exersize is:
24/1+1.5+x=6
x=1.5
24/1.5=16!

Ques:- A certain number when divided by 39 leaves a remainder 20, what is the remainder when the same number is divided by 13?
Recent Answer : Added by bhawanisej On 2022-09-15 16:36:22:

when know that 13 is factor of 39 so it will also not be able to divide it differently. so the remainder will be same 20 but as we know that 20 is greater then 13 so we can divide it once again and in the casE of 13 the remainder will be 20-13=7

Ques:- Why do you want to switch to our company?
Ques:- If a boat is moving in upstream with velocity of 14 km/hr and goes downstream with a velocity of 40 km/hr, then what is the speed of the stream ?(a) 13 km/hr(b) 26 km/hr(c) 34 km/hr(d) none of these
Recent Answer : Added by DRS On 2022-08-14 16:31:31:

Speed of Stream = 1/2 (Downstream Speed – Upstream Speed)
=1/2(40-14)
=1/2(26)
=13km/h
method 2:
for down stream case :speed=Boat speed + Stream speed
for up stream case :speed=Boat speed – Stream speed

therefore, Bs + Ss =40
Bs – Ss =14
(-) (-) (-)
———————
2Ss=26
Ss=26/2 = 13Km/h
Stream speed= 13Km/hr

Ques:- How long does a train 110 m long running at the speed of 72 km/hr takes to cross a bridge 132 m length?
Recent Answer : Added by AP On 2023-03-15 12:25:11:

Total distance to cover = 132 +110 = 242m
Speed = 72kn/hr = 20m/s
time = 242/20 = 12.1 sec.

Ques:- Two trains are on same track and they are coming toward each other. The speed of first train is 50 KMs/h and the speed of second train is 70 KMs/h. A bee starts flying between the trains when the distance between two trains is 100 KMs. The bee first flies from first train to second train. Once it reaches the second train, it flies back to the second train ? and so on until trains collide. Calculate the total distance traveled by the bee. Speed of bee is 40 KMs/h. .
Recent Answer : Added by DK BOSS On 2021-07-15 09:17:12:

Answer: 66.67 km approx.

Solution:

Let the first train A move at u km/h.
Let the second train B move at v km/h.
Let the distance between two trains be d km
Let the speed of bee be b km/h
Therefore, the time taken by trains to collide = d/(u+v)
Now putting all the known values into the above equation, we get,

u = 50 km/hr
v = 70 km/hr
d = 100 km
b = 80 km/hr

Therfore, the total distance travelled by bee
= b*d/(u+v)
= 80 * 100/(50+70)
= 66.67 km (approx)

Ques:- “A soldier loses his way in a thick jungle. At random he walks from his camp but mathematically in an interesting fashion. First he walks one mile East then half mile to North. Then 1/4 mile to West, then 1/8 mile to South and so on making a loop.. Finally how far he is from his camp and in which direction. ..”
Recent Answer : Added by Harsh Shah On 2021-07-22 15:55:58:

Soldier have to move 0.75 miles to West and then 0.375 miles to South to reach the camp.
How:-
Firstly soldier moving 1 mile to East from camp and then 1/2 miles= 0.50 miles to North .

Then it is moving 1/4 miles =0.25 miles to west
And then 1/8 miles =0.125 miles to South

Now we just have to count the difference and minus the value of camp to East with the value of North to west = 1mile – 0.25miles(1/4) = 0.75 miles

Same case with north and south = 0.50 miles(1/2) – 0.125 miles(1/8) = 0.375 miles

Hence proves to return camp the soldier have to move 0.75 miles to west and 0.375 miles to south
