(x**2 – 2 x – 3 ) – (x**2 – 6 x + 5) = 0
x**2 – x**2 – 2 x + 6 x – 3 – 5 = 0
4 x – 8 = 0

gives us (2**2 – 6 * 2 + 5)/(2**2 + 2*2 + 1)
