If division of 3 is allowed then I might do 5 divisions in one go & do in less iterations. I would assume max 2 division as you have to hands, and compare the weight.

this would leave the pattern with differences in the pattern 24, 21, 18, 15, 12, 9. The next number in the pattern would be 6 lower than 91. 91 – 6 = 85. Then 85 -3 – 82, followed by 82 – 0 = 82. After this, if -3 were taken the pattern would start to rise so 82 – – 3 = 85.

Sum of all numbers in series= 870 (I.e 312+162+132+142+122)
Average=sum of numbers/count of numbers
Average= 870/5
= 174

Average = (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9)/3
= 45/3 = 15
