Ques:- What is the sum of all numbers between 100 and 1000 which are divisible by 14 ?
Recent Answer : Added by Kalyani Nanaware On 2022-08-14 16:43:06:

The numbers that lie between 100 and 1000 which are divisible by 14 are 112, 126,140 …,994
a = 112; l = 994, d = 14
n= (l−a)/d+1
= (994-112)/14+1
= 64
Sn=n/2(l+a)
= 64/2(994+112)
= 32*1106
= 35392

Ques:- Three thives were caught stealing sheep, mule and camel. A says ” B had stolen sheep ” C says ” B had stolen mule” B says he had stolen nothing. the one who had stolen horse is speaking truth.the one who had stolen camel is lying . Tell who had stolen what? give the steps …
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:04:29:

Had is correct ! Anil went in right direction but ended up
with wrong answers
Soln: B lied ( see anil’s comment ) which implies B has not
stolen mule. So B could steal camel or sheep.
1) Lets assume B stole camel.
In that case, A lies ( refer – A says “B had stolen sheep”
), which implies A had stolen sheep ( becoz a lier cant
steal mule ). So A->sheep B->camel C->mule. But this cant
happen because C cant lie ( refer – C says ” B had stolen
mule” ).
2) Lets assume B stole sheep.
In that case, A is true ( refer – A says “B had stolen
sheep” ), which implies A had stolen mule. So A->Mule
B->Sheep C->camel. Here C lies ( refer – C says ” B had
stolen mule” )
SO ANS: answer A- mule, B-sheep, C camel

Recent Answer : Added by GAURAV WAGHELA On 2022-03-09 16:35:13:

1km is equal to 1000 meter
Therefore 225 meter is how many km
Then we have to cross multiply
1km – 1000 meter
? – 225 meter
0.225 km
Then we have to apply formula
Speed = Distance/Time
Speed = 0.225/12 sec
= 0.01875×3600sec
= 67.5
Therefore speed of train is = 67.5

Ques:- A county cricket team has won 10 matches and lost 4. If these matches represent 70% of the matches to be played, how many more matches should the team win so as to have a record of 75% wins?
Recent Answer : Added by DK BOSS On 2021-07-17 06:18:54:

Let the total number of matches to played in the tournament be ‘x’.

Given that A county cricket team has won 10 matches and lost 4.

That means total number of matches played = 14.

So,

= > 70% of x = 14

= > (70/100) * x = 14

= > 70x = 1400

= > x = 20.

So, the number of matches to be played = 20.

They have a record of exactly 75% wins = 20 * 75/100

= > 15.

Therefore, the number of matches should the team win = 15 – 10 = 5.

Hope this helps!
