then given that the difference between the number and 3/5th
of the number is 50
therefor , x-3/5x=50
2x=250
x=125 is the answer

1750 / 7 Years = 250

Let ten’s and unit’s digit be 2x and x respectively
Then, (10×2x+x)−(10x+2x)=36
9x=36
x=4
Required difference=(2x+x)−(2x−x)=2x=8

Now if discount = 10%
SP = 90x
.: Profit% = ((90x-60x)/60x)x100 = 50%
